Our day consists of approximately 130 to 150 minutes of Language Arts, 100 minutes of
Math, 40 minutes of Special Time, 45 minutes of Lunch/Recess (with an
additional afternoon recess consisting of 10 minutes), and 30 minutes of
Science/Social Studies.
-SPECIAL CLASSES:
The special classes that your child will participate
in are as follows: Art, Music, Library, Gym, Spanish, and Computers (Reading
Eggs/Math Seeds educational games). Students
will need a set of headphones to keep at school for computer time. The
classes are planned on a six-day cycle (A, B, C, D, E, and F days). Always check the weekly newsletter for the
specials for the upcoming week so that your child will be prepared. On Gym days your child will need to wear
sneakers, and on Library days your child will need to return his/her library
book.
